What happens when you feel there’s no chance of getting your life back on track? You take a diversion. But what if someone tells you, ‘You can get a second chance to bring it back on the right track.’ Would you believe it? Will you be able to find the courage to run on the same track again? Ahaana, a broken teenager, who has lost her determination for her life. Ansh, a careless teenage boy, who kept on letting everyone down around him. Two teenagers, one purpose, giving life another chance.
Review:
Some stories are for fun... and some are for inspiration. EDASC to me was the latter.
It is a story about Ansh, a simple boy who digresses from his path and loses himself. He takes some drastic steps and then feels that everything is lost to him. However, that is not the case. 'Everyone deserves a second chance' is the major learning for Ansh and hence, is the theme of the book.
The characters in the book are well portrayed. The mistakes of teenage life are narrated well. And the bond between mother-son is beautifully depicted. I couldn't help but feel teary at certain points.
What I liked most about the book was the part of Ahaana. She is a simple cute girl and I really hated the tragedy that hits her.
It is a story that touches on a very sensitive issue. Teenage suicides over things that really not so relevant in the long run. Author has touched on a very important issue and I hope it helps save some lives in the future.
My rank for this book is 4.5 and I loved the cover.
A must read.
